Christian Kleine – Valis

Valis was Christian Kleine’s first album release on Morr Music in 2002 and is a fantastic example of this era for the label. Clean instrumentals full of subtlety and experimental textures. Valis is a vague and hazy electronica album that feels almost limbo like and successfully places the listener in a space that is both rhythmic and ambient. Sounds like winter in a city, the life is out there, but no one is around. Melancholic without dragging its heels.
